Word 2000 cell shading

I have cells set up in Word 2000 with text in the cells. When I go to
"shading" the screen shot shows the text but when it prints, with the shading
color, part of the first or last letters in the text are missing. When I
remove the shading color it prints fine.

Can you reproduce the error in a different document, or is it
document-specific?

Does it still happen if you try a different printer?
