won't save edits

B

Brian

I made a movie. Went back to movie to edit frames for
text adding and trimming. Saved it. But then when I
reopened the movie (from library), none of the changes had
taken affect.
Does all editing have to take place upfront before the
movie is made?
Is there another place on the computer where the saved
changes may be?
Any explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you saved the movie, which you can do at any time - to make a
playable video in WMV or DV-AVI format.

But you didn't save the project - with MSWMM extension - that's the place
that the info on the timeline is stored between editing sessions.

You have to recreate your movie file (save movie file...
from the file menu. If you only saved your project your
changes will not be reflected in your movie file. The
good news is that your project should have the changes
you made so open it up again and then save the movie file.

good luck
