Won't do initial scan

Installation appeared to be ok. Icon in system tray shows
the program to be running, but I cannot do an ititial
scan. The proper screen appears but nothing happens.
Anyone else having this problem?

Same here! The download went smoothly, individual features
tweeked as I had wished but upon clicking to start a scan,
nothing !!! What to do? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !
