wmv file

When I play my wmv file on windows media player the picture comes up too
dark. Is there any way to edit this file to increase the brightness?

Import the .wmv file into Movie Maker and
drag it to the timeline.

Right click the clip and choose "Video Effects".

On the "Add or Remove Video Effects" screen
select "Brightness Increase" and click the "Add"
button.

You can add up to 6 instances of the effect.

I would suggest saving the edited file under a
new name so your original will not be overwritten.
