.wmv file only plays for approx 20 seconds

I've inserted a movie into a PPT slide. The file is 21.5 MB, approx 6
minutes long. It will start as directed when running the slide show, but the
movie stops after approx 20 seconds. Are there file limitations in PPT?
Are there settings that need to be changed?

any help or suggestions would be appreciated

I suggest you post the question in a PowerPoint newsgroup or Forum.
This is not a FrontPage problem.
