WMP with Vista

M

mariner

I`m running Vista Home Premium SP1

The question is this:
How do I make WMP my default player. I`ve opened options in WMP, but it does
not have the `File` option (which it did on my old PC that run XP). I`ve
executed a repair on the WMP and am informed that I have the most up to date
WMP on my system.
Any help will be most appreciated :)

What an idiot!

No, you posted a question in the wrong group. His response pointed you
to the correct group. I suspect that with the exception of you, almost
everyone understood completely. So he isn't an idiot - he was being
helpful. The one mistake he did make was to assume that you were at
least slightly conversant with the conventions of usenet (newsgroups)
before posting on it. It's certainly pretty damn rude to call yourself
an idiot when in fact his only mistake was not to realise how ignorant
you are.

If you want to understand a bit about how usenet works and how to get
answers while not getting all offended when someone is genuinely
trying to help you, you might want to read this:

Why are you posting here other than to be a troll? You have been told
where to post. You have no business posting here unless you have a
question concerning .Net programming and a .Net solution concerning Vista.
