WMP Missing Almost Everything

Upgraded to Ver 10, now all I have is a minimal play window. No playlist,
graphic equalizer won't display - nothing but a bare bones player window. If
I select a folder of files, they play all right. Must be a registry entry or
something, but none of the menu options (I've tried them all) seem to help.
Hope this rings a bell with someone!

My question is, how did you "upgrade" to v10? To do that
you download the latest v10 and install it OVERTOP of previous
installed version. Do not delete the old one, for it is designed
that way. Download a fresh/new copy of v10 and install.
