WMP 9 & Roxio Easy CD Creator 5

Since installing WMP 9 ECDC 5 will now only record the
first 13 wav tracks on a music cd. I've installed all the
updates for ECDC 5. Tried burning at the slowest speed,
Copied to hard disk first etc but still end up with the
same result. If i record thru WMP 9 i get all of the
tracks. anyone got any ideas.

OK, you've chosen the worst of both worlds to burn CD's - Poxio and WMP.

Belieive it or not, CD burning software does NOT like to co-exist. Therefore
:

1) Turn off the XP (which is Adaptec based) native buring software. Right
click on My Computer > Manage > Services & Applications > Services > disable
IMAPI CD Rom burning Service > OK and re-boot

2) Invest in Nero, its worth it, believe me.

3) Burn away happily
