wmp 11 distortion

wmp 11 plays all of my previously ripped library songs fine but the new CD's
or ripped CD's I play are all distorted. I have checked all my volume
settings and equalizer settings and they are acceptable and at medium levels.
Any suggestions?

Try to rollback to Windows Media 10 and see if the Ripping your CDs will
work fine without distortion.
If you are using Sonic CD Burner or other there is an issue with WM11.
