WMM2 producing Upside down video's???

Hey, Can anyone help me on the video being taken off my sony DV cam. Short
video upload to my computer via DV cam comes out right sometimes... Longer
over 1 - 2 minutes it all comes out upside down... Picture and sounds are
great, but it is just upside down... I have a few I have put on my system now
and I can't lose them... Anyway to fix this? And I have looked over the
system menu's and settings and all... Can't find where to fix it.

I need a way to convert these video's already on my system (upside down) to
a correct viewing right side up... Any software out there that is much better
at that than MM2??? Thanks a ton if someone can really help me with this.

Sorry I can't help with why it is happening, but at least
I know how to get the footage back the right way
up...apply the Video Effect "Mirror, Vertical" to the
affected clips.
Hope this helps

Hello there,

The programmers at Cinegy tell me that its due to faulty frame processing.
Re-indexing the file using Windows Movie Maker might help and running the
program Rename Codecs might help if the first fails...rename codecs and its FAQ
can be found on my website.

LOL....actually, when I was the manager of a network I was called to one of the
terminals to discover that the phone call was not a wind up....the picture was
upside down. One of the blokes had brought in some software that did just that
to any image....it was quite odd.....I removed all floppy disk drives after that
:)
