WMM2 and Animation

I got WMM2 and see that I can insert frames and a soundtrack - I have a Cakewalk product for recording and creating music and can do voice dialogs and some graphics software to do scannings and art for the animation. Once I bring in the audio/music file and the graphics images into WMM2 can I adjust the play time for each frame? BTW I read that it saves NTSC size image or PAL - what is the NTSC size in pixels
Thank Yo

Use 800x600 if you're heading toward DVDs, Otherwise 640x480 .... both are
standard 4:3 aspect ratios

You can't directly adjust the play time for each frame of a video within
MovieMaker. If you have another app that can extract the frames from a video
file as separate images, you could then import them into MovieMaker as
stills and drag them down to the timeline. Could be an option if you weren't
talking about a huge number of frames.

MovieMaker will publish to a number of different resolutions depending upon
the settings you select on the "Movie Settings" page within the Save Movie
Wizard. However if you see NTSC then that is typically a resolution of
720x480 and PAL will be 720x576. Note that these resolutions use non-square
pixels to produce the standard 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio.

Hope this helps

MovieMaker will default to using one image every 5 seconds. However you can
change the default by going into Tools...Options from the menu. Selecting
the Advanced tab and changing the value in the Picture duration box and
click OK. Change it 1 second here if you want to default to one image every
second.

the lowest setting you can use is 1/8 second (0.125 seconds)

If you save the clip as a video at that rate, you can then import the clip
and apply a speedup effect.... saving it again as the final movie.

If you want ot play the final video at normal 30 fps speed, apply the custom
effect that I have as a download on the Editing > Video > Reverse Effect
page of www.papajohn.org

Applying a 375% speed effect to a clip saved at 8 fps gets you to 30 fps.

Thanks for the replys
"import them into MovieMaker as

will the timeline auto to one frame per sec?
TIA

That info is incorrect as it induces a non square aspect to pixels causing
artifacts to appear. The correct setting is 720 x 576. 800 x 600 has a ratio
of 1.3 recurring and 720 x 576 has a ration of 1.25 exactly. If you are
going to give out advice you should at least make sure that it correct. If
this user were to take your advice, and by now I expect he has, you will
have caused him to create a fuzzy picture.
