WMM will not open for more than 1 second

I have WinXP home, with "Windows Movie Maker" listed in Start>Programs.
When I click on it, it opens as a "flash" just long enough for me to see
that something is there. I tried to log on to PapaJohn's site and it shuts
down Internet Explorer 6. IE6 also closes down if I try to log on to the
IMDB site, or anything containing the word "movie".
Would be grateful for any possible solution.

If your computer was working fine a few days ago, try a system restore.

You probably have a pop-up window blocker configured to
close any window with the word "movie" in it. Try
disabling the pop-up window blocker. If that works, try
to edit the "block" list and find/remove the "movie"
entry.
