WMM Crashes and video

Hello. I'm very new with that movie maker thing. And I want to make a video
clip of Rammstein. Wenn I want to put some clips in it I get an error:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Louise\Bureaublad\Rammstein - Ich Will (Music
Video).mpg could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is
corrupted."

And that same error I get wenn i want to put some music in. I can only put
some pictures in it.

The second error is wenn I want to work with Movie Maker, the program
crashes within 5 minutes. And shuts down over and over again.
So wenn I finally have to pictures, the program crashes down.

Hopefully you understand this because my english is really bad.

Your English is very good.
Movie maker does not work well with mpeg files, nor mp3 if you use that for
your music. See

Your options are to convert the mpeg files to wmv and use them in movie
maker, or buy a programme that will edit mpegs, such as adobe premiere
elements/Ulead video studio, or upgrade to a high end vista.

Which kind of files does Window Movie Maker accept?

No problem, the page will tell you, but use normal windows file types, like
WAV, WMA
