WMI "Not Found" Error

Someone please help me! My WMI has gone AWOL and I can't access it at all.
I've been thru the previous posts concerning missing or corrupt WMI and
followed the 'solutions' described, including deleting the repository,
winmgmt RUN commands, HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG permissions, etc. and STILL get the
following error message: "ERROR: Number: 0x80041002, Facility: WMI,
Description: Not found" when I try to run WBEMTEST. Aside from re-installing
Windows, does anyone have any other solutions???

I was unable to fine an "update" for WMI, but I did find a WMI Diagnostics
tool which I was able to run and it provided me with info on missing WMI
files. Given I have approx. 50 pgs. of stuff to sift through I'm not sure if
this will fix it or not. Thanks for the input.
