WLM started reporting connection problem.

WLM has just started reporting a connection problem from all my PC's on my
local network. Looking at connection setting there is no suggestion of a
connection problem and the option to start trouble shooter is greyed out.

Was all fine until the last couple of days, WLM status site suggests all is
well!

Anyone else having this problem? see error below....

Due to a connection problem, changes you make might not be applied to other
computers you use

Having the same problem(Netherlands). Althoug msn 7.5 appears to be working
flawless. This afternoon i could still login with WLM now i cant even connect
:( and weird part is that the status should be ok according to the site.

I am having the exact same problem and it also started a few days ago. I
always get the following error "due to a connection problem changes you make
might not be applied" and the contact list either disappears or changes at
random right before my eyes. Conatacts begin appearing and disappearing. I
have seen this happen both my from home internet and that at the office.
Anyone have any ideas or is microsoft experiencing server diffulties? I read
that there was a major corruption to their contact databases last week. This
may be the initial cause of this problem.

have email from WLM Support. Sorry for my bad english

i `ve told them about my problem.
3 hotmail accounts using with windows live messenger and windows live mail
beta.
till sunday everything was fine.
But now... none of the 3 logins will work. no login or login with connection
problem and no contacts.

they told me to kill all contacts and contacs shadows from my windows
(documtens and settings//microsoft/contacts blah blah)

that doesnt work!

sn webmessenger will work fine, windows messenger will work fine.. msn messi
7.5 will work... only live messi doesn`t.

the response mail with theyr help has nothing to do with my posted problem
*narf*

maybe your contac wasn`t online in the last 30 days, maybe some errors from
upgrading from msn messenger to wlm and and and... lol.. i`ve never used msn
messi *g*... and from sunday to monday ..thats 1 day and not 30 ;) ..and on
all othe Microsoft Messengers it will work.

so.... HELP!
