WJView error : Could not execute Main

In the last month or so, the following error code appears
when I start my computer.

"WJView error
Could not execute main. The system cannot find the file
specified."

The error appears after the desk top and all applciations
appear normally. I jsut click "ok", and everyhting appers
to be acting normally.

Any thoughts on what is happening?

You're probably dealing with adware stuff. You may have to
become more discriminating when browsing the Internet.

In a DOS shell (aka Command Prompt), run "wjview". Do you get a popup
window showing its version and options? If you do a file search on
"wjview.exe", do you find it? It's probably supposed to be under
%windir%\System32. This is Microsoft's Java command-line interpreter, so
presumably you are trying to run a Java applet or application when the error
occurs.

It sounds like you have a startup program that uses Java running either as
an local applet or application. Have you checked your startup programs to
see which one uses Java? Windows 2000 doesn't come with msconfig.exe
(System Configuration Utility) to let you see all the startup items but you
can get the Windows XP version from
http://downloads.thetechguide.com/msconfig.zip, or use Mike Lin's Startup
applet (a Google search will reveal his web site).
