With a shared database can others also see your inbox and contacts

With the shared database, can others who share the database see my (or anyone
else's inbox or list of contacts other than what's in the Business Contact
Manager? I believe that it's something our IT Manager has to set up
separately and only management has that authority, but I'm not sure. Anyone
else had this question or problem?

Nope, your private Outlook contacts and Inbox are not accessible by others.
