Wireless Network

I have a wireless net work. I have turned on file sharing on the Desk top,
but cannot access the shared files from the lap top. I can access all the
files on the lap top but not vise versa. I have file sharing on and have
gone as far as disable all the fire walls, (nortorns and windows) I can see
the computers both on the lap and desk top, but cannot access any files on
the Desk top from the lap top.

Non-Windows firewalls rarely disable properly. Uninstall them until you
have your network working as you want, then reinstall them and configure
them appropriately.
