Wireless Network x2

Andrew Staley

I have a laptop running Vista Business, which I need to run on two different
wireless networks using different network settings.

One is a home connection and uses the router to issue an IP, the other is an
office which requires a sepcific IP range setup.

Is there anyway for me to get the laptop to switch between the two based of
the network identifier?

Thanks in advance, Andrew.

Start/(right-click)Network-Properties/Manage network
connections/(right-click)LAN-Properties/select TCP/IPv4/Properties/Alternate
Configuration ... here you must provide a static IP (I recommend the home
one ... security reasons + easy config in router) or if you know the DNS ...
:)

Thanks for the reply. Been seting up networks for the office for awhile,
and never realised you could have an alternative range stored.

Andrew.
