Wireless connectivity

Hi

I have the following attached to my wireless home router. 2 x Windows XP
computers, 1 x Windows Vista computers, 1 x Apple Mac computer, Apple TV,
iPhone. Until last week all devices connected to the internet fine.

One day both the Windows XP computers (from two different vendors) stop
acquiring IP addresses and therefore cannot connect to the internet despite
the fact that they have successfully attached to the router wirelessly. So I
put in static information and they still could not see anything externally.
I've run updates on them (by connecting them via an ethernet cable to the
router) and it appears that they are up to date.

I have substitued the original Netgear router with a Draytek one but the
problem remains. What could be wrong?

Even though you are using a router try ipconfig /release then ipconfig
/renew. I have the bat file listed on line 8:
