Wireless Connection - VPN

R

Raymond Chiu

i used to use my desktop at home to access my company's Lotus Notes using
iNotes via VPN. i've just purchased a notebook together with a 3Com hub
that would let me to gain internet access wirelessly. Everything works fine
except that i cannot access my Notes on my notebook.

My network connection as follows:
Desktop --> ISP broadband modem --> internet
Notebook --> 3Com Wireless hub --> ISP broadband modem

My notebook configuration as follows:
Windows XP Professional (SP2)
AVG 6.0 anti-virus home edition
3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g Cable/DSL Gateway

What should i do? Did i miss anything? Any help is much appreciated.

Your Gateway includes firewall protetection. You probably need to set it to
allow your VPN connection to pass through.
