In a very simple wireless home networking setup, is it possible for a DHCP
client
to see who is currently connected on or how many connected ?

thanks

It simply depends on the access point. My Netgear WAP shows active MACs, as
does my neighbor's WAP...

On a decent router, it'll tell you this.

Try opening a command window and entering 'nbtstat -n' to see if that's
what you want. If you want IP addresses, enter 'nbtstat -a <name>',
where <name> is one of the names in the previous list.

I forgot, 'nbtstat -r' to show remote names.
