wireless card-error message

Just installed wireless card.
Internet Ok
when I boot I get the message

"the procedure entry point aps GetInterfaceCard
could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll"

I click OK and OK and carry on as usual.

Any ideas how I may get rid of these pop ups please?

Thanks

This is a problem with the wireless card driver and Windows XP SP3.
First try to get an update driver for the wireless card from the manufacturer.
If that does not work, go to Start - Run and type in
msconfig
Go to the startup tab and uncheck the box for the Wireless Card monitoring startup file.
that will kill the popup and your wireless will still work.

SP3 for windows changed the wlanapi.dll file and several Wireless Card Manufactures did not update
the drivers.
