wireless adapter keeps disconnecting and won't reconnect

With Windows Vista Home Premium, a DI-624 Rev C latest firmware, and a
Linksys WUSB56GC latest drivers (vista compatible, apparently).
I configure the router. I can see it with the wireless adapter. I connect
to it, give it my passphrase. It connects.
I open some torrents, and all of them say (cannot connect:www.... blah is an
unknown host).
I open IE, can't find any websites.
I check in network manager and it says I am still connected to the router.
I disconnect, reconnect, it won't reconnect.
I have to uninstall the device, unplug it, reboot, replug it, reinstall the
drivers.
It works again for another 30 seconds.
