Wiping out your Hard Drive

Hello.....

Anyone knows a good free tool to just wipe out any data on your hard drive
with out
re-formatting ? ( That is leaving intact the Volume Id )

You can read the volume id, then format it. when format finished, you
can input the volume id.

Microluck, I know that trick, I am trying to avoid that.
