WinXP & Win98 networking

Dal

I have two computers - the XP machine connected directly
to a router. The Win98 machine connected through a
Wireless networking device. both have IP's & can access
the internet.

Trouble is, I can access the drives of my Win98 machine
from WinXP machine. But I can't access the drives of the
WinXP machine from my Win98 machine. It's asking for a
password. But no where in WinXP did I set up a password.
I'm thinking this is probably simple, but can't figure it
out. Can anyone help?

thanks - but in WinXP Home, where do I set up a user & pw
for the computer (Win98 machine) that I want to grant
access?

again, can ping both cpu's, & can copy files from my Win98
machine to my WinXP machine (from WinXP machine). But
can't access WinXP drives from my Win98 machine.

thanks.
I have TCP/IP enabled & can ping both computers from the
other. Also, I can print to my WinXP printer from the
Win98 machine (if that means anything).
