Hello,
I booted up my laptop this morning and noticed when I navigate to folders I
no longer have a toolbar! Major problem, because that leaves me with no
navigation ability. If I right-click "start" and choose explore, the
toolbar with standard buttons appears. If I open Internet Explorer, the
toolbar appears. If I open "My Documents" from my desktop or browse folders
via "My Computer", no toolbar. I was using my laptop all day yesterday
without any problems, so I have no idea what caused my toolbar with standard
buttons to disappear when browsing folders.
I've browsed Google and see lots of suggestions regarding reinstalling WinXP
or using system restore. Is that really necessary?!
I have Windows XP Professional with SP2 and all the latest WindowsUpdates.
Thanks!
