WinXp setup not complete.....

I have win98 on my system and when I tried to install
windowsXP on to another partition during installation the
following error occured...

win32k.sys file error
Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area
Technical details

After this I restarted my system and formated the
partitioned area and restarted setup.Then the following
error was shown!!

Did you run WinXP's Upgrade Advisor?

It sounds like defective or sub-standard RAM, from the error
messages. WinXP, like WinNT and Win2K before it, is quite sensitive
to borderline defective or sub-standard hardware (particularly
motherboards, RAM and hard drives) that will still support Win9x.
