WinXP Partition Set To Non Bootable

Great... Curse me for going with Acer. Today while testing a new USB CD-ROM
booting capability, somehow Acer's BIOS decided to set it's FAT recovery
partition to become the ACTIVE partition!!!

And now I can't get my WinXP partition to be bootable!! I already ran the
recovery console and tried FixMBR, FixBoot, BootCFG /rebuild. And I still
can't get the system to boot through my hard disk!!

Can anyone out there give me a hand? Thanks!

The below article walks through the steps to change the active partition.
This should help you in making the change needed.

Good luck!

Didn't work.. interseting thing to note is that I'm not getting an NTLDR not
found message, but rather an Operating System not Found message... which I
presume is form the BIOS instead?
