winxp clean reinstall, security update

A friend wants to fix his Dell D4300 (do not ask, it is BAD) with a clean
winxp reinstall. He has the winxp disk and I have the ms sp1 disk. He has
only one phone line and uses dial-up. He would like to use my connection to
download and save to a CD as many winxp security updates as possible to
minimize his download time. How can I do this?

Why not go to the windows update corporate download page and download and
burn to CD the hotfixes.
