WinXP and HP Deskjet 812c

The driver for this printer is included in WinXP and
installs okay when plugging in the printers USB cable.
My problem is that on the paper size list there is
no "custom" size as refered to in the manual. I want to
print on 3X5 index cards which is also not on the list.
Even if I select a larger card like 4X6 and set margins
to reduce it to 3X5 size it prints outside the margins.
HP says I will have to wait for them to update the driver.
Anyone know of a quicker fix for this???

In the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes, then from the toolbar,
select File, Server Properties. You can set custom page sizes here.

Okay. I could add the new page size at the server and
name it "US Index Card 3x5" but it doesnt appear in the
printer properties list of paper sizes. It still
contains only the same list of 14 that were there
before. Same in the application (wordpad) page setup.
