Immediately after starting my computer I can always read a
message:
"Can´t find the file winupdate.exe (or one of its
components). Please chech that.... all DLL-files are
available."

I´ve had some problems with virus earlier and my virus
program has put a lot of virus infected files in
quarantine. I´ve then deleted theese files.

There are no other problems when using the update
function. Is it possible to download the missing file or
component?

If you had problems because of the virus, you should re-install the last
service pack you installed, in adittion, you should re-install Internet
Explorer too.
