Sir,
i am using win2000 domain network.
i want to know,how we can use winpop(ie.can i send any
small messages to directly to users.?)

In both sender and recipient machines, ensure that 'Messenger service' has
been started in Control panel> Admin tools>Services.
To send, type "net send <name> <message>" in command line
example: net send MYCOM example text

Or try Bassline WinPopUp to use easier GUI.

Winpopup has been discontinued in Windows 2000. At our office we find
it most efficient to use WinMessenger for this purpose.
