OS: XP Pro + SP2

The winlogon.exe comsumed a lot memory (350,xxx K); but it is about 4,xxx K
after the reboot. It seems that the program has memory leak. How could we
fix this? the KB suggest to contact Pro of Microsoft, need some fee. I will
try my luck from community first.

Our admin try to copy his winlogon.exe (4,xxx K on his PC) to my PC. Then the
file size automatically changed to: 502,272.

I have a similar problem. On Win2003 Web Edition, one computer (A Dell
server) runs winlogon.exe at 175MB. On another server (same OS, generic
hardware), winlogon.exe stays below 10MB.

Is there something that the vendors can do to a Win2003 installation that
would cause a memory leak in winlogon? Both of my servers are accessed with
terminal services. I set the profiles to always NOT attach local resources
and to NOT allow remote control.

Two admins log into these servers maybe once per day, or every other day.
The generic HW server is under heavy traffic load, whereas the dell is not.

Ideas??
