Winhound

My Microsoft Defender picks up a winhound, but cannot delete or quarrantine
it due to the following error. 0x80501001. Any help or suggestions? Thanks

Hi Engel

There is a problem with WDs removals and therefore
it is prabably needed to also run Smitrem.exe to be sure.

I tested it myself with Errorsafe and Spyfalcon and
WD is a good blocker but a "moderate" cleaner.........

I cannot see within any forums that WD removes Winhound
it is still a smitrem procedure.

I wish we had more from MS about these pests.........

I am not going to infest my own PC for a while ;)
