winforms animated transitions

Hi All,

I am developing an application that i would like to create animations
between forms, e.g slidin,out, etc something similar to Media Center
transitions. Can someone please point me to some resources on how i
can accomplish this?
a sample application would be great.

I want to use .Net 2.0 or since my taget machines are not very high on
performace to use WPF
