Winfax Pro- How to disable software

I am currently using Winfax Pro my operating system is Xp
Professional I have managed to send and receive faxes but
when trying to upgrade to Broadband AOl I cannot find a
way to disable the winfax pro for to get connected to the
broadband can anyone help me
