WindowsXP Pro Display Problem

A

AA Smith

After installing a ViewSonic VE700 LCD display on this computer, something
odd happened that causes the Windows Startup Screen, or Boiler Plate, to
appear with about 1/3 of the image's top truncated. The same thing happens
when I start 3D Pinball in full-screen mode. Everything else display
properly. I tried reinstalling the ViewSonic drivers from the CD that came
with the monitor, but that didn't solve the problem.

What's causing this? More importantly, what can I do to make both of them
display properly?

I shall very greatly appreciate your help on this.

Take for service but test on another machine first. They generally just
replace the electronics in the flat panel.

I had a similar problem with a VE155. It would only lock onto the preferred
resolution correctly.
