I just recieved my third Install cd of RC 1 and it came with the Evaluation
and Resource Kit CD. I was also given the option of Private Newsgroup Support
& Training Vouchers by registering my copy of Vista. Well since I allready
had Vista installed my Product ID # does not match with the new Product ID CD
of Vista I just recieved. Could some one please tell me where to go from
here? Working on it

I am not aware of Microsoft distributing Vista on CD media, its through DVD
media only. Have you contacted the source of your distribution why you have
these separate IDs? Something sounds fishy.

Sorry ! I should of said DVD. This package is for real it contains three
dvd's ( one Evaluation and Resource Kit dvd and 32bit and 64bit version of
RC1. I also have a purchase order (MP4JHADVZGYU85N26Q3E) and ID
#(W016458901017). Don't know if this will help ya or not but I supplied them
anyway. Also have some item #'s

I saw this "Microsoft Windows Vista RC1 Evaluation and Resource Kit - OEM"
on Newegg and thought it was a joke because it seemed like they were
charging $50 for RC1, but I guess there is more to it, still there is no
real description on what it contains.

That looks like the Family and Friends Program DVD they sent out - looks
like the one I got anyway for RC1.

Well it didn't come from Newwegg and didn't cost me but 10 bucks.

Since I had Vista RC1 installed allready I'm not being allowed to log in to
www.WindowsVistaOffer.com with the copy I have installed allready since the
product number of the copy I have installed doesn't match with the new copy I
just recieved. I would just like to take advantage of the Private Newsgroup
Support & Training Vouchers that is being offer with this new package! I
know there has to be some kind of work around !
