Windows2000 printing TCP/IP printer shows off line

I support 270 Windows 2000 Dell computers, I print
successfully using TCP/IP printing. On 1 computer I have a
HP 5si and when I configure to print it shows off line. I
can print to other TCP/IP printers. have tried different
print drive and reinstalled tcp/ip.

So everyone has TCP IP ports set? Not sharing off of a print server/s
defined with those ports/printers? Sounds like a lot of work for that many
computers

Can the user ping the IP address of the printer?
