Part of the text on my user accounts page has disappeared, all that is left
is the name "guest", I have no administrator, so I can't restore. I haven't
much experience I just don't know what to do. Also, all of the print on my
screens is huge. This is all the result of 2 eight year olds playing office.
Can anyone help me. Thanks, Carole

Boot the computer into Safe Mode. You probably have XP Home. Do this by
repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will
get you to the right menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse
will not work here. Once in Safe Mode, you will see the normally hidden
Administrator account. The default password is a blank.

On the off-chance you have XP Pro - you do not need to go into Safe
Mode. At the Welcome Screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic
Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and whatever password you
assigned when you set up Windows.

Once you are logged in as Administrator, do a System Restore to before
you let your kids play on your computer.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time".
