What program is it,usually a MS DOS program gets installed to a MS-DOS form-
mated floppy, then on restart, enter the BIOS,set to boot to floppy, run the

What is the specific error message you're receiving? What is the name of the
program you're trying to run?

Many MS_DOS programs will not run on XP because the Autoexec.nt & config.nt
files are missing. They should be in the c:\windows\system32 folder. If
they're not they can be copied from c:\windows\repair.

Even if they are there, they may need to be edited to run your particular
program.

Hope this helps,
