windows xp wpa2

Hi, I have downloaded and installed the windows xp wpa2 patch for
windows xp pro sp2 fully patched,

but I can't choose the wpa2 option when I configure my notebook
network card, only wpa is available.

Configuring it anyway with wpa I can't connect to my wpa2 access
point.

What I'm doing wrong ?

Never heard of such an animal.. but luckily, a Google Groups search only
showed 20 posts on the subject. Hopefully they're quality discussions
and will actually offer a solution:

Maybe if you change the parameters of the search, you could increase the
results.

Your notebook network card may not support WPA2.

Check with the manufacturer, possibly a driver update will.
