Windows XP User Accounts

How do I remove a name from User Accounts? I entered my new information as a
new user, however, the previous administrator is no longer working here and
their name pops up along with my name when the computer goes into hibernation
and requires another sign in to gain entry. Thank you for your assistance.

try logging in as an administrator and going into control panal, user
accounts, and just remove their account.
