~~~windows xp update problem~~~

hi, i cant update windows xp now, before it worked now it
doesnt work. when i try to update it, it says ERROR #
0X800C0005. Need help, everything else works on my pc but
this pb and i turned off my norton too. What should i
do?????????

This is a sign of virus infestation, and with all respect, if you are in the
habit of turning off anti-virus and firewall so that stuff on the net will
download, it is hardly surprising.. go to www.symantec.com or www.mcafee.com
... do an online scan with your installed anti virus and firewall RUNNING..
