Windows XP Temp file

On the HD, user's "local settings," one
finds: "Application, History, Temp, and Temp Internet
Files" folders; in the "Temp" you can find all kinds of
stuff from folders to diverse files, notepads, etc.;

Is it safe to delete all this stuff? Also, what is
the "Offfilt" folder within; can it be deleted, or what
is its function?

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks--John

Yes. Files that are still in use will not delete so you cannot do
anything wrong here.
In fact you should delete the TEMP files from time to time to keep
your system tidy.

yes...you can delete these files.

temp files
cookies
history

of course this will "erase" any passwords you have that
are set to "remember passwords"...you will have to re-
enter these passwords.

your best bet is to "limit" the size of these files to
improve your computer speed.
