Windows XP startup problem

Guest

I am running(or attempting to) Xp home on an older model ARM N-30N3 laptop
and when I turn it on, it appears to be starting up, but then I get a blue
screen and a message that says:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

Unmountable_boot_volume

If this is the first time you have seen this stop errror screen, restart
your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

check to make sure any new hardware or softwareis properly installed. If
this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for
any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or
software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you
need to use safe mode to disable or remove any components, restart our
computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and then select safe
mode.

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x000000ed (0x8122bcc0, oxc0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No matter how I attempt to start up, it always puts me back at this message.
It appears as though windows wants to start up, as I get the WINDOWS XP HOME
EDITION startup screen then it just reverts back to that message.
PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you
