Windows XP start up progress bar

I do not know if this is really a problem or not. On my PC, my
freshly installed XP Pro SP3 (late June 2008) does not seem to display
the white progress bar during the boot up. I just get a black screen
and the "text" cursor going down a few lines.

XP doesnt use that progress bar after SP2,the color should be blue.
Try,booting to xp cd,recovery, press 1 for C: press enter key for password,
type:Fixboot Agree,type:CHKDSK C: /p Once thru,type:EXIT Let xp start..

All works as it should but on my "home" XP Pro PC, there is no "white"
progress bar on the black screen prior to the blue Windows XP "start"
screen. I have several PC in my office, also with XP Pro, and they
have the "white" progress bar on th black screen prior to the blue
Windows "start" screen.

The only difference is that the one in my "office" were updated to SP3
while my "home" XP Pro PC was installed with XP Pro Sp3.
