Windows XP Service Pack 2 not installed message

When I try to download windows xp sp2 from Microsoft update, it comes up with
the download page that downloads it. But then after about 5 minutes it says
Updates were unable to be successfully installed at the top of the page and
then in the middle of the page it says, The following Updates were not
installed: Windows XP Service Pack 2 and then I only have the option to close
the page.

Instead of the Express Installation, download SP-2 and burn to CD or order
SP-2 on CD, Step 1 on this page:
