Windows XP Service Pack 1 Express

When I try to update my computer with Service Pack 1, it
says that the serial key used to install Windows XP on my
machine is not valid, and aborts the installation. My
key was valid, and has worked with everything up to this
point. What can I do? Is there a way to change the key
(so I can install SP1) without reinstalling XP? Any
suggestions...? Also, it seems like I can download and
install MS03-026 (823980). I get a successful
installation message, and restart the computer. Then
when I return to Windows Update, it says that I still
need to install this update. Does SP1 need to be
installed successfully in order for this update to take?
Thanks.

Hello!
These two product keys create a product ID that matches one
of the following product IDs (where X is any numeric
value): XXXXX-640-0000356-23 XXX XXXXX-640-2001765-23 XXX
(Click below for how to view your product id). If you have
brought what you believe to be a legal version of Windows
go back to where you purchased it and ask for a legal
product key.
